PREFIXES
The prefix omni means “all”. Christians often say that God is omniscient; that is, God knows all things.
The prefix per means “throughout”. When we play sports, we generally perspire a lot.
The prefix gest (and its variant ger) means “bear” or "carry". Mothers often warn their children not to hurry when they eat, so that their food can be properly digested.
ROOTS
The root struct means “build”. Perhaps, you know that a teacher is also known as an instructor.
The root vac means “empty”. On an airplane, when we visit the lavatory, we hope it is vacant, so we do not have to wait.
The root ver means “truth. Do you remember the word verdict?
SUFFIXES
The suffix ile means “quality” or “state”. I hope that you will never be senile, because you might forget this lesson.
